About Katrina

For over 25 years, my career has lived at the intersection of trauma-informed practice and therapies, systemic leadership, and participatory design and implementation.

A core thread throughout this time has been mentoring and therapeutic guidance with individuals — supporting people to reconnect with their authentic selves, value their gifts, and step with courage into new possibilities. For leaders, this has often meant cultivating participatory and ethical approaches to building and supporting teams, leading change and project implementation, and navigating complexity with integrity — finding ways to lead with both clarity and humanity.

I am especially experienced in the thresholds of transformation — emergent experiences that can feel unclear, disorienting, and even frightening. The spaces where the old no longer fits and the new has not yet taken shape. My role is to hold people and systems with steadiness through uncertainty, while also guiding toward clarity, expansion, and meaningful shifts.

My early foundations brought together both depth-oriented approaches — Jungian and humanistic psychotherapy, dreamwork, therapeutic ritual, and somatic practices — and structured modalities such as CBT, DBT, and CAT. I also trained and practised as a social worker, and built extensive expertise in human-centred design.

This breadth gave me the grounding to work with both the inner world of meaning and the outer world of behaviour, relationships, and systems. Today, I no longer practise within the frame of any one modality. Instead, I bring an integrated approach, weaving together decades of training and experience to meet people and organisations relationally, adaptively, and responsively.

Alongside my individual practice, I have also guided leaders, teams, and organisations through strategy, innovation, and systemic change. Whether holding a person in their most vulnerable transition or supporting a team to design for impact, my approach is the same: to create space where authenticity, courage, and possibility can emerge.

What defines my work is range and integration. I bring the therapeutic depth to hold people through uncertainty and the systemic and strategic clarity to cut through complexity. I balance humour and humanity with structure and precision, ensuring that our work together honours both the personal and the systemic.

At the heart, meaningful change happens when we honour both our inner wisdom and the needs of the world around us — aligning soul with strategy, and possibility with action.
